NR74 Port Pirie and NR109 race 1AD88 inaugural Ghan from Adelaide to Darwin as it approaches a cross with an ARG Grain train at Nantawarra. This train not only made history as the first standard gauge passenger train into Darwin, but also made history as Australia's longest passenger train - 43 carriages for a total of 1.2km's. 1st February 2003.
